A tale of stolen faith, divine fire, and the fragile hope of rebirth.

In the mountain peaks of Vaelgar, nestled between frozen, wind-carved cliffs, lies a monestary called The Emberhold—a quiet, pious settlement devoted to Aetheris, the Light Eternal. For generations, they have protected a single, radiant phoenix egg, passed down through the centuries, sealed within the Sanctum of Flame beneath the village shrine.

The monks, called Emberwardens, believe the egg is a gift from Aetheris himself, the last ember of the phoenix who once lit the skies in the Age of Dawnfire. Prophecy holds that in the year of twin eclipses, the phoenix shall return, reborn in fire, bringing with it an era of renewal and light. That year is now.

But recently, the egg was stolen.

The protective flames surrounding the sanctum dimmed. The shrine cracked. The elder Emberwarden reached out to the Dawrven capital for help.

In response, an adventuring guild called The Ironwill was dispatched.
