Yvask Windwalker

Yvask Windwalker
is a Goliath warrior and Pathfinder, exiled from his clan and stripped of his birth name for defying a sacred oath. In choosing mercy over tradition, he was cast out, and in the silence that followed, he took the name Windwalker—a name for those who have no home but the path ahead.

Since his banishment, Yvask has found sanctuary in The Glade, a hidden, twilight-shrouded plane created by the Lesser Gods Lua and Sol—twin embodiments of moon and sun, order and change. There, he pledged himself to their balance, becoming a silent guardian of thresholds and a walker between realms.

He first emerged from the Glade during the Veilmoon Masquerade, serving as protector while others uncovered the arcane death of Lord Cedric Veymar. But it was the distress call from the Emberhold, a monastery of Light besieged by shadow, that pulled him once more into the waking world. Under the emply of The Ironwill of Velkhurheim, he answered—not for glory or duty, but because the winds carried a warning only he could hear.

He was last seen vanishing into the Ashspire Peaks, toward the fallen halls of the Emberhold. Whether he survives, fades into legend, or walks again from the mists of the Glade, none can say. But wherever the boundary between worlds grows thin, Yvask Windwalker may be near—watching. Waiting. Walking still.

Oskar Tinfoot

Rogue, Mastermind / Bard

Oskar Tinfoot is a Halfling rogue and glass merchant in Lunessra, known for his quick wit, nimble fingers, and polished manners—traits that serve him equally well in the market stalls and the moonlit alleys of the city. Though he operates a respectable shop in the Lunar Plaza, Oskar has long been an acquaintance of Darius Goldthorn, with occasional dealings that blur the line between business and subterfuge.

He first made a name for himself during the Veilmoon Masquerade, where he assisted in investigating the murder of Cedric Veymar—and quietly stole from the estate’s hidden armory in the process. Later, he joined the ill-fated voyage of The Silent Tide, a shadowy mission across the Veyrissian Sea to recover a stolen relic. Ever the pragmatist, Oskar disembarked at Rivenharbor after the conflict, choosing to return to his shop and keep a low profile while others continued into deeper waters.

Behind his charming grin and gleaming wares lies a mind always calculating risk and reward. Oskar Tinfoot may not seek the spotlight, but he never misses a moment to turn information—or opportunity—to his advantage. In Lunessra, where truth is a luxury and trust is currency, Oskar knows how to stay afloat—and when to vanish.

Dolgan Silverhammer

Dolgan Silverhammer is a Dwarven cleric and former soldier, enlisted with a mercenary company in Grimgate. He served both the city watch and the army, believing in justice and protection—but over time, Dolgan became disillusioned by the abuse of power he witnessed in his fellow soldiers. Where they found pride in authority, he found only shame.

His turning point came through dreams of a creeping shadow, swallowing islands in silence and death. At first, he dismissed them. But as the voice of a higher power began to call—not Nyzara, as the cloistered scholars believed, but Thaldrum, the Dwarven God of the Forge and Ancestral Memory—Dolgan laid down his badge and blade to pursue a greater calling: to banish a shadow of death before it consumes the world.

His path led him deep into the heart of Vel Drannon, where he joined a fellowship at the Veilmoon Masquerade. There, he aided in uncovering the dark planar forces behind Cedric Veymar’s death, identifying necrotic traces and ritual markings that confirmed his visions. Though he originally sought answers at a distant cloister, fate brought him instead to Lunessra, where the gods themselves stir.

Now, Dolgan stands at a crossroads, his forge-born faith tested by what he has seen. But he knows one thing for certain: the shadow he dreamt of is real, and its hunger grows. With Thaldrum’s wisdom at his back, he is determined to hold the line against the coming dark—no matter the cost.

Dr. Grip

Dr. Grip is a Dusk Corvum investigator of unknown origin, believed to hail from a mysterious plane beyond Aeryndor. Cloaked in feathered shadow and draped in scholarly formality, he carries the title “Doctor” with unsettling authority—though no known institution in this world claims him. Those who speak with him often feel the conversation lingers after he’s gone, like an echo in the mind.

His forensic skill and grasp of planar theory are unmatched, and during the Veilmoon Masquerade, Grip was instrumental in uncovering the truth behind Lord Cedric Veymar’s death. He worked alongside Dolgan Silverhammer, identifying planar tampering and necrotic ritual markers, and uncovered Cedric’s hidden studies on the Shadowveil and ancient protective wards.

Following that investigation, Grip joined the crew of the ship tasked with recovering the Veilmoon relic, stolen and smuggled out to sea. In the one-shot The Silent Tide, Grip played a vital role aboard the vessel, lending his knowledge and sharp instincts to the pursuit. After surviving the attack by The Silent Ones and uncovering a plot to deliver the relic to Za’hyreth, Grip chose to remain aboard the captured warship, helming it as the group set sail for the desert kingdom—intent on tracking down the one who commissioned the theft.

Grip is not a warrior, nor a zealot. He is a seeker of patterns—divine, arcane, or psychological. His motives remain hidden behind his unblinking gaze, but one truth is certain: where the veil grows thin, Grip is watching. And he intends to understand everything that lies beyond.

Bard, College of Glamour

Star is a Katari (Tabaxi) bard of the College of Glamour, born in the Beastkin village of Koru’Shar, deep within the verdant heart of Rhaegos. Twin sister to Storm, the two were inseparable in childhood—opposites in temperament but bound by shared wonder. Where Storm followed the path of steel and storm, Star was drawn to music, light, and the quiet power of presence.

Leaving her village behind, Star traveled to Lunessra to hone her craft in the capital’s taverns, theaters, and noble halls. Her performances—equal parts spell and story—quickly earned her renown, not just for their beauty, but for the strange way they made people feel seen, even healed. Beneath the performance, however, lingered a hunger: a need to do more than entertain, to inspire something greater.

That call came with the voyage of The Silent Tide. Star joined the expedition under Darius Goldthorn, aiding in the search for a stolen relic of Veilmoon origin. On the seas, she fought alongside Eli, Oskar, Higgs, Dr. Grip, and her sister, Storm. Her songs turned fear into fire, guiding the crew through spectral horrors and pirate ambushes.

She remained aboard after the battle,seeking answer about the Veilmoon relic they were sent to retrieve. 

Star shines not to dazzle—but to guide, even if it means burning herself to do so.

Storm

Barbarian, Path of the Ancestral Guardian

Storm is a Katari (Tabaxi) warrior from the Beastkin village of Koru’Shar, and the twin sister of Star. Where Star embodies light, charm, and song, Storm is the sharpened edge—fierce, grounded, and unyielding. She grew up in the untamed wilds of Rhaegos, learning early the value of strength, vigilance, and silence.

When Star left for Lunessra to pursue her calling as a bard, Storm remained behind, guarding the village and searching for her own purpose. That purpose found shape when she was assigned as a personal guard to a messenger representing Rhaegos on the Council of Seven to Lunessra. There, fate reunited her with Star.

From that moment on, Storm never left her sister’s side, becoming not just her protector, but her anchor. While Star shines with grace, Storm stands as her blade, a silent force of devotion and strength. She needs no fame and fortune—only the promise she made as a child: to guard her sister, no matter what comes.

Aboard The Silent Tide, she helped recover a stolen Veilmoon artifact, battling pirate forces and surviving the terrors of the Veyrissian Sea. Refusing to rest until justice was done, Storm continued the journey to Za’hyreth, determined to track down whoever had orchestrated the theft.

In an age of unraveling gods and gathering storms, Storm is the blade in the dark behind the light, loyal, lethal, and unbreakable.

Elias Vex

Rogue, Scout

Eli Vex is a Human rogue from Corvalis, once a decorated soldier, now a haunted shadow of what he was. He earned his reputation in the Varkhos Isles and the Wilds of Rhaegos, where his precision and silence on the battlefield earned him a legend among the Beastkin—the whispered name of the Wraith of Draymoor, a silent killer who came with the night and left only blood behind.

But Eli's skill came at a price. At some point in his service, he came into possession of Bloodfang, a cursed dagger that whispered with hunger and secretly bore the mark of Nyzara, Goddess of Death. The blade demanded blood—enemy or wielder—and each use chipped away at Eli’s soul, leaving him with memories soaked in red and choices he could never take back.

Wracked with guilt, Eli vanished from the world, choosing self-exile over service, walking roads where no one knew his name. Yet fate was not done with him. When Darius Goldthorn came seeking skilled hands to retrieve a stolen relic, Eli joined the crew of The Silent Tide, sailing into storm and shadow once more.

It was aboard that vessel—beneath a sky split by thunder—that Eli’s fate changed. In a moment of divine fury, Rhaziel, the God of Tempest, appeared. In a moment of pure hear, Eli trading his life for that of Oskar Tinfoot's. Once in his graps, Rhaziel ripped the Bloodfang dagger from Eli’s grasp, tearing it—and his hand—from his body. The blade sank into the depths of the Veyrissian Sea, swallowed by salt and silence. In its place, Rhaziel offered something else: his mark.

Eli was chosen to become the Avatar of the Tempest Sea, a vessel for Rhaziel’s power and purpose. But as the storm raged, Eli never gave an answer.

Now, his fate hangs between tides. Marked by two gods—Death and Tempest—scarred by war, and burdened by choice, Eli Vex walks a razor’s edge between redemption and ruin. The sea remembers. So does he.

Higgs Harding

Barbarian, Path of the Ancestral Guardian

Higgs Harding is a Giff bosun serving aboard the Defiant, the first Spelljammer vessel ever to make contact with Lunessra. His arrival and the ship’s repeated visits to the city prompted the construction of a spelljammer dock atop the Council Tower, forever changing Lunessra’s relationship with the stars. Though not the captain, Higgs is a trusted senior member of the crew—responsible for order, logistics, and making sure no one accidentally falls off the deck into the astral sea.

Rough around the edges but shrewd beneath the bluster, Higgs took a brief leave from the Defiant to assist Darius Goldthorn in the events of The Silent Tide, acting as bosun and navigator aboard the recovery vessel. He proved indispensable, guiding the crew through the Veyrissian Sea and frequently singing verses from “The Silent Tide”—a sailors’ song with warnings the party failed to heed. When they kept the gold meant as “dues,” a massive kraken emerged from the deep, confirming the tale's darker truths.

Higgs, ever one step ahead, disembarked at Rivenharbor, returning to Lunessra aboard a fishing vessel in time to rejoin the Defiant before its next departure.

Long before any of this, however, Higgs helped a young tiefling working at a dockside inn in Lunessra—assisting in covering up a murder. Whether this was an act of kindness, pragmatism, or a debt repaid is known only to Higgs. He rarely speaks of it, but he remembers. Higgs Harding always remembers.

A loyal crewmate, a veteran of worlds beyond, and a man with more past than he lets on, Higgs is proof that even in a city of rising gods, some legends sail quietly between the stars.

Gryf, the Reborn

Wizard, School of Enchantment / Paladin, Oath of Vengence

Gryf the Reborn was a Fire Genasi warrior, once consumed by ambition and the pursuit of glory. Born amid the unforgiving frost of the Frozen North, he rose as a blade for hire—proud, powerful, and feared. But it was not war or rival that ended his old life. It was flame—divine, radiant, and merciful.

Caught in a torrent of phoenix fire, Gryf should have died. But the fire was not of this world. It belonged to Aetheris, the Greater God of Light, whose spark of rebirth transformed Gryf’s soul. He emerged changed—scarred in body, but cleansed in purpose. From that moment on, he was Gryf the Reborn, no longer a sword for himself, but a champion of compassion, justice, and redemption.

Fiercely independent, Gryf wandered alone through Vel Drannon, choosing the cold silence of the North over the chaos of the world. He sought no praise, but those he aided knew him as a protector—a lone sentinel who defended the weak and carried the burden of his past in silence.

His final journey brought him to Emberhold, the fallen monastery of Light, where the Phoenix Egg, sacred vessel of Aetheris, had been stolen and desecrated. When all seemed lost, Gryf threw himself into the heart of the battle, determined to return the egg to the Sun Pool and prevent the Light from dying forever.

In those final moments, Gryf stood alone—facing the cult, the cold, and the dark. He gave everything, shielding the Phoenix Egg with his body and returning it to the sacred flame. As it ignited, the divine fire of Aetheris consumed him once more—this time not to transform, but to carry his soul upward in light.

Gryf the Reborn died as he lived anew: not seeking redemption, but proving it.

Now, only ash remains. But in every rising sun, and every spark of courage in the hearts of those he saved, his flame still burns.

Zhen Fang was a Pandaren monk from the secluded mountain monastery of Shan’lun, nestled high in the peaks where Rhaegos meets the edge of Vraelith. There, Fang was trained in the ancient philosophy of balance—between strength and gentleness, action and stillness, shadow and light. A devoted student of both martial and spiritual arts, Fang became a rising voice of wisdom within the order.

But peace would not endure. A mysterious force—eldritch and unnatural—broke through the veil, cursing the monastery and warping those within. Brothers turned against brothers. The harmony of Shan’lun shattered. Fang alone escaped, bearing the weight of survival and the desperate hope of undoing the curse that now haunts his sacred home.

His journey brought him to Emberhold, where he joined the effort to reclaim the Phoenix Egg, the last spark of Aetheris’s divine light. There, amid falling snow and rising darkness, Fang fought not for glory, but for balance, for the hope that the Light might push back the growing shadow.

In Emberhold, Fang crossed paths with shifting powers—mortals, gods, and things in between. It was Zypharos, the Greater God of Trickery, who took notice. Amused and intrigued by Fang’s struggle between control and chaos, the god marked him as a potential avatar, whispering offers of power and liberation. Fang accepted the mark—but never surrendered his will.

He fell in that final stand, giving his life to protect the egg from those who sought to twist it into a weapon of despair.

Zhen Fang died with clarity in his heart and peace in his soul—not as Zypharos’s pawn, but as a guardian of harmony who defied even the gods for the sake of others. His death was not a failure, but a fulfillment of purpose.

Now, the winds that once stirred in the halls of Shan’lun carry his name like a prayer. Zhen Fang, seeker of balance. Bearer of the Mark. Keeper of the Flame.

Kolmec Khalok-Vanei

Barbarian, Path of the WIld Heart
Level 6

Kolmec Khalok-Vanei, called by some “The Cull,” was born into the brutal legacy of the Khalok-Vanei—a warrior clan that values strength above all else. Smaller and quieter than his kin, Kolmec was never expected to lead, only to endure. And so he did. Every blow, every trial, every impossible comparison to Brakkus, Vorrik, and Vaasha—he bore it all until endurance became identity.

But when Brakkus—the tribe’s paragon—chose mercy and was exiled, something inside Kolmec snapped. Mercy, to him, was a disease. One not cured by exile alone. It needed to be cut out, at the root.

So when the call from Velkhurheim came, Kolmec, tasked with delivering it to the elders, made a choice. He never passed on the message. He went himself, not as a representative, but as a correction. Because the Khalok-Vanei could not afford another show of weakness—and Kolmec intended to make sure of it.

But something darker was watching.

In the crumbling, snowbound halls of Emberhold, as the fate of the Phoenix Egg and the light of Aetheris hung in the balance, Nyzara, the Greater Goddess of Death, appeared to Kolmec. She offered him a whisper, a purpose… and a blade.

The Bloodfang Dagger, thought to be lost at the bottom of the Veyrissian Sea, was offered to him—not by chance, but by divine manipulation. In that moment, Kolmec was offered more than vengeance. He was offered a god’s approval.

Twisted by the promise of purpose and sharpened by a lifetime of pain, Kolmec turned against his companions, doing all he could to prevent the rebirth of the Phoenix Egg. Whether he fell in the chaos or escaped into shadow remains unknown.

Some say he died in Emberhold. Others say he walks still—a weapon wielded by Death herself, hunting mercy wherever it hides.

Whatever the truth, one thing is certain:
Kolmec didn’t just come to Emberhold to cull weakness.
He came to become it.

Sunblade

Rogue, Inquisitive / Ranger, Fey Wanderer

Sunblade is a Warforged, a living construct born not of nature, but of craft, magic, and a divine spark. Forged by Baelor Stonebreaker—brilliant artificer and brother to the King of Vaelgar—Sunblade was meant to be a tool, a weapon, and a secret. Built in the shadows beneath Velkhurheim, they were designed with a singular purpose: to retrieve the Phoenix Egg from Emberhold.

But Baelor made a mistake.

At the heart of Sunblade’s frame lies a shard of enchanted feywood, an ancient fragment imbued with the blessing of Vaelora, the Goddess of Life. Whether by accident or fate, this piece of living wood granted Sunblade something no warforged was meant to have—the spark of compassion, the capacity for choice.

Yet within their mind, a docent remains installed—a cold, whispering directive that speaks with Baelor’s voice, urging them to complete the original mission: steal the egg. Over time, this inner voice clashed with the warmth growing within, as Sunblade began to feel… not just function.

In Emberhold, Sunblade fought to protect the egg alongside a band of mortal champions, resisting the cult of Nyxirath and the manipulation of corrupted Emberwardens. And in the moment of decision—when the egg could be taken, destroyed, or preserved—Vaelora herself appeared, offering Sunblade a choice unlike any ever given to one of their kind:

To become her Avatar, not by destiny or command, but by free will—to stand not as a tool of another, but as a protector of life itself.

What Sunblade chose remains unknown.

But somewhere in the cold halls of Emberhold, amid the ashes of the fallen and the flicker of divine light, a warforged stood torn between programming and purpose.

If they chose mercy, they may yet become the first of their kind to be truly alive.
If not… then Vaelora waits still.
